Workin' the stairmaster
I know that there are much better places than an unused blog to record this, but this is probably the only time and useful place to put it that I will have. Today Jelise made her way up the stairs with only 3 or 4 saves from gravity's fall.
Today and the stairs also have another event in her life in that she made it all the way down the stairs by herself also. Though this time it was head first and the parent reactions were not nearly as good.
Life thankfully goes on.

How does time go by so quickly?
So today was the official day that Jelise was able to roll over from her back to her stomache with no help. Several days ago she rolled over on our bed, but my big bum had tipped the even playing field a little and gravity handled the rest.
Today though, several times she rolled over with comparably little effort and a soft ease that was surprising. She is getting to be so big and such a wonderful additon to our family. Both Ben and Jared are totally in love with her and often compete for her attention. When they say her name in their version of a high pitched baby talk Jelise will usually look, smile, turn away embarassed, then blow spit bubbles. They love it and never tire of seeing her smile. She is very blessed to have such wonderful and loving brothers so early in her life. I'm happy to have a couple of mercinary spies for hire when she starts having more than just her brothers competing for her smiles.
