My Turn...
OK, so I've found out today of 2 friends that have had their babies, and now I'm looking at the neighbors getting meals delivered to them so they must have had their baby also. Jelise is primed, aimed and ready to go... When is it going to be my turn?

Well there have been many thoughts of what to say to begin this blog, and up until now they have all been mostly related to Mommy. Well, today is the first day that has a specific personal relation to Jelise and her coming into this world.
At about 8:00 I was out walking the boys after dinner hopeing that they would get a little more tired for the evening. On the way back Miurvy called me saying that she was wet and not from anything that could have spilled on her. We called the Dr and left a message and got a call back very quickly saying that given the circumstances we were to go to the hospital and get checked out. So we did. Luckily Gimena had offered to help Miurvy by staying at our house untill Miurvy's Mother arrived on the 23rd so we were all set to take off and have a baby. Early, way early, don't get me wrong it wasn't time for the baby but Ben was born only 2 days later than Jelise would have been.
We admitted to the hospital and the whole time I'm kinda worried about the whole situation. We had been told on Monday that the fluid surrounding the baby was low and so now with the loss of the fluid and Miurvy reporting that the movements of the baby were less we were a little worried. They put the monitor on and Miurvy was, as the nurse described it, "contracting up a storm" but wasn't feeling anything. The baby's heart and everything were doing fine, but there was no pain. They monitored us for about an hour and took a test to see if the fluid being released was from the baby or not and the verdict was that it was not. Where it was coming from they didn't know, but as far as they could see, the contractions were simply preparation stages and that we were not going to be having a baby tonight. So, we packed up and headed home with orders to put Miurvy to bed and stay pretty docile for a little while and if the contractions got stronger or the pain got worse, or if more fluid was coming out we were to come back in for another check.
Jelise is nearly here and we are excited to have her. Too bad I wasn't able to make up some crazy beginning to her life by describing the dark, overcast light emitted from an eerilly bright full moon. We will have to wait and see if anything happens tomarrow.
